The three project PIs and the two graduate research assistants met in Jeremy Ranch, UT. The retreat activities included planning for the 2026-27 professional development that will take place in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and planning for data analysis.

Project PIs Research Assistants

During the 2025-26 school year, we worked with a group of middle and high school teachers from the Jordan School District in Salt Lake County, Utah. This group of teachers engaged in activities to learn how to recognize and build on MOSTs.

The three project PIs and the two graduate research assistants met in Houghton, MI to work on our new NSF grant. The main retreat activity was planning and developing materials for the August 2025 professional development session about Learning to Build on MOSTs.

In June 2024 three PIs gathered in Park City, Utah for a four day retreat. During the retreat they responded to questions for the most recent NSF grant proposal, revised and prepared a manuscript about the Building practice and planned for another manuscript that focuses on analyzing the noticing of teacher-researchers from the last round of enactments.
